Data collected from the website is used to help us understand who our users are and to generate marketing strategies tailored to increase the exposure of our app. Data collected from usage of the app is used to customize exercise and content delivery and to help us identify the best methods in using the app to support Chinese language learning.

On our website, we use the open-source web analysis tool Matomo on our remotely hosted system. Matomo uses cookies. Cookies are text files that are saved on your computer and which allow Matomo to analyze how you use our site. The cookies generate information about how you use the website, and this information is saved on the server.

Our app aims to support learners of all ages including minors. When accessing registration users will be asked their age. Minors will be required to provide the consent of their legal guardians to both access the app and complete any payment steps.
