Pai Sifu is an app with an innovative approach to helping learners with Chinese language education. The app implements a smart data driven approach to learning which emphasises the development of all core language learning skills. This includes reading and writing as well as speaking and listening. As the number of students electing to study Chinese at secondary and tertiary levels continues to increase Pai Sifu aims to supplement course learning and help improve academic outcomes for students of all abilities and ages. Pai Sifu draws on historic Chinese themes of Kung Fu to deliver content in an engaging and dynamic manner. Data analytics shows users their strengths and weaknesses and smart learning techniques allow the app to focus on areas where the learner will most benefit in developing Chinese language skills.
